Like so many others, this client wanted casual headshots at her favorite place: the beach. Clients are using these images for several purposes; but, largely for social media sites such as LinkedIn. The images you put forth says a lot about you, and it is often the first impression others have of you. Be sure your headshots / profile photos are fresh and up to date. These sessions are quick and easy, and I usually email the images within 24 hours.
She was uncertain when she booked this session. We usually photograph the whole family . . . focusing on the their three young children, and lucky if we get a group shot with Mom and Dad in it. This time, however, Mom had other ideas. She wanted to celebrate the love she shares with her husband. She wanted portraits of the two of them. Just the two of them. I’m so glad she booked the session! Don’t we all need love photos just like these?

This was one of the coolest sessions ever! Her poise and beauty combined with willingness and talent helped us achieve just the look we were going for. This lovely young lady devotes much of her time to dance, and it was fitting that she would want to capture that in these images. Casual, beautiful, unique . . .

I love this little boy for lots of special reasons, and am delighted to watch him grow up in this loving, fun, happy home. He is adored by Daddy & Mama, and is one of the most well-behaved youngsters you’d ever care to know. These family photographs were as joyful as they look – all fun. And, that backyard! Beautiful.
These girls mean business. They had an outstanding fall soccer season, and took home the PSPL U11 Classic 1 Division Championship! Spending a little time with them as we created their team photos was a hoot. They’re as sweet and pretty as they are determined and opinionated. They knew just how they wanted to stand, and they’d let me know if I had anything “off” in my posing of the group image. The end result is as much (or more) their own creation as it is mine. And, I like it that way. Way to go, Lightning!
Casual headshots are a growing trend among my business clients. I have enjoyed several sessions intent on capturing business professionals in an approachable, relaxed atmosphere. These are often used in various social media formats, as well as websites and promotional media. A session usually takes no longer than 15 minutes, and I am often able to have next-day delivery of edited, full-resolution images.
These two little girls have blessed me, as both are my previous preschool students. They were star-students, great friends to others, and brought along a mommy and daddy who added much to our preschool program. This family is made up of four fabulous people, and they were so fun to photograph!
